Iain is an ex-mariner with 14 years seagoing experience onboard ships with Ocean Fleets, Bibby Line, Esso International and Conoco/Maersk Floating Production. In 1999, Iain resigned from the operational marine industry to progress the design and development of training and reference materials through the company that he had set up a year earlier. It is Iain's drive, professionalism and depth of knowledge that brought Seamanship through its early years and now underpins the company's vision of traditional values matched with creativity and flair.
