Johan Machtelinckx
- IT Director
Johan spent 10 years at sea with
CMB, Exmar and Tecto serving on general cargo ships, container
vessels, product tankers and LPG/LNG Carriers, reaching the rank of
Chief Officer. In 2001, after a computer sciences post-graduation
course at the UCL (Belgian University of Louvain-La-Neuve),
he joined Witherby Seamanship International to provide a mixture
of Software development and technical industry
skills.
Johan became Witherby
Seamanship’s IT Director in 2004 and is now responsible
for the development of all of the product and customised project
portfolio.
When he was 7, Johan
wanted to be an Astronaut.
