After 20 years Energy Experience with companies such as BP and Wood Mackenzie, Kat decided to step out of the world of 'big corporate' to develop a career in the Scottish SME market. She began with a series of assignments for VCs, mostly in the Aberdeen Oil Services Sector, focussing on strategy, due diligence, international commercialisation and exit. Since Sept 2004, Kat has worked exclusively with Seamanship International, the company founded by her partner, primarily in a business development role.
